Explore NDIS cleaning and laundry guides for the Northern Territory. Whether you need help with regular household tasks or a single visit, start with the relevant service below. Your exact address, requested work and timing need to be checked before a booking can be offered.
Choose the service that best matches the help you need, then browse the local guides. If your area is not linked, contact us with your address and requested tasks so we can check availability.
These guides cover regular or occasional help with household tasks related to your support needs. For a shared home, identify your private rooms and any agreed shared areas. Work belonging to another resident, landlord or support service needs to stay separate.

If a routine task list does not describe the cleaning needed, tell us about the rooms, condition and priorities so the work can be assessed. Mould assessment or remediation, pest treatment, repairs, hazardous contamination and work beyond safe reach require separate specialist consideration.

Convert a spring-cleaning label into observable tasks and nominated rooms. The name of the service does not decide funding: proposed assistance still needs to relate to the participant’s disability, meet NDIS support rules and be in line with the plan, while general preference or property upkeep remains a different responsibility.

Need help for a single visit? Tell us which tasks matter most, your preferred timing and any time or budget limit. The written quote should make clear what is included, what is excluded and how lower-priority tasks will be handled if the agreed limit is reached.

Handle vacate or end-of-tenancy cleaning as separately quoted private-pay work, not NDIS Household Tasks funding. Include the handover date, property condition, requested rooms and real-estate or tenancy instructions in that quote. Neither the directory nor cleaning work guarantees a bond return or inspection result.

For laundry help, tell us about the loads, washing and drying facilities, care instructions and where finished items should go. In a shared home, identify whose clothes or linen are included and who can approve the work. Dry-cleaning, alterations, repairs and textile restoration are separate services.

Check two separate matters before agreeing to use plan funds: whether the requested cleaning is an NDIS support for this participant and whether the chosen provider is permitted under the funding arrangement. NDIA-managed funds require a registered provider. A self-managed or plan-managed participant can usually use a registered or unregistered provider, subject to plan- and support-specific restrictions; the plan manager must itself be registered. This directory proves neither provider status nor payment approval.
Your written quote should confirm the address, agreed tasks and priorities, visit length or frequency, price, exclusions, access instructions, cancellation terms and invoicing contact. Check it before accepting, including who can approve the work and any responsibilities shared with other people or services. Funding and address availability must be confirmed separately.
Find information about plan management, referrals and cleaning in shared or supported homes. These national guides explain the wider arrangements; your own plan, requested work and address still need to be checked.
