Check what is already included
Before booking a separate cleaner, check the SIL provider’s agreement or household routine. This helps focus the quote on tasks that are not already being delivered and prevents confusion about who is doing what.
Choose the tasks that matter most
Tell us which rooms or household tasks the participant would like help with, such as bathrooms, kitchen surfaces, floors, laundry or an agreed shared area. A clear priority list makes it easier to plan a practical visit.

SDA relates to housing and SIL relates to support in the home. It helps to keep a separately arranged cleaning quote focused on household tasks that are clear and do not overlap with property, maintenance or support-worker responsibilities.
Arrange access with the participant
Before a visit, confirm who can provide access, any communication preferences, safety information and who may approve a change to the agreed tasks. The participant’s choices should guide the service wherever possible.

NDIS cleaning may be funded when it relates to your disability support needs and is in line with your NDIS plan. We can provide a clear quote and invoice. Your quote should describe the agreed household tasks and the visit details. If a task overlaps with another provider’s work, please clarify it before booking so it can be discussed rather than charged twice.
