Our company. Our people.
About Smurfettes Cleaning Service
For 13 years, Smurfettes Cleaning Service has supported homes and workplaces with professional cleaning. Today, our team includes 1,100+ cleaners across Australia, with an office team you can contact about your service.
Working together
Cleaning on site. Support through the office.
Your cleaner and the people coordinating your service have different roles. Here is how to reach the right support.
Our cleaners
Our cleaners carry out the cleaning tasks agreed for your home or workplace. Tell the office about your priorities, access arrangements and anything that needs special care before the visit.
Customer service
Our customer-service team helps with enquiries, quotes and booking questions. The office confirms local availability and discusses available replacement or rescheduling options if your regular cleaner cannot attend.
People and coordination
Our team includes an HR and compliance coordination role alongside customer service and leadership. For a service question or concern, contact the office so it can be directed to the right person.
Checks before your clean. All cleaners are police checked before starting work. For NDIS participant services, the office confirms the applicable worker screening requirements before arranging the clean. Product and equipment arrangements are also agreed for your service.
What we help with
Cleaning for homes, workplaces and everyday support
Tell us about the property and the help you need. The office checks the location, proposed tasks and timing before confirming a service.
Home cleaning
Enquire about regular house cleaning, one-off cleaning or vacate cleaning, with tasks and service arrangements discussed before booking.
Office cleaning
Discuss cleaning for offices and commercial premises, including the areas to be cleaned, access and preferred service times.
Household support
We welcome enquiries about NDIS, DVA and aged-care cleaning. Share the cleaning needs and any relevant service requirements with the office.

Our family-business story

We make the proposed tasks, price and arrangements easy to understand.
Respect
Every property, routine and client deserves thoughtful service.

Questions or concerns are handled through the office and followed through.
Leadership
The people behind Smurfettes

Konan Danao
Chief Executive Officer
Konan sets the direction of Smurfettes Cleaning Service. As Chief Executive Officer, he guides the organisation’s priorities, long-term development and the decisions that shape how the service operates and grows.
His focus is on clear direction, accountable leadership and responsible growth. With oversight of governance and organisational performance, Konan keeps the wider organisation focused on its service standards and the responsibilities of the people leading its work.

Jacquelyn Danao
Founder
Smurfettes began with Jacquelyn in 2013. As founder, she established the service and the values on which it was built, giving the organisation its foundation and its identity as a family-owned Australian cleaning provider.
Her founding contribution remains an important part of the Smurfettes story as the organisation continues to develop. Read more about our leadership team.

Heidi Hilwa
Operations Director
Heidi turns the organisation’s service standards into day-to-day action. As Operations Director, she oversees service coordination, team responsibilities and the delivery of agreed work.
Her focus is on making the practical details work together: what has been agreed, who is responsible and what the team needs to carry it through. Heidi connects operational oversight with clear client communication and a consistent approach to service quality.

Andrew Lloyd
Customer Service Specialist & In-house Paralegal
Andrew helps clients move from an initial enquiry to clear service arrangements and ongoing support. As a Customer Service Specialist, he assists with bookings, brings the relevant information together and keeps communication organised as clients work with Smurfettes.
Alongside his client-facing role, Andrew provides in-house paralegal support with document preparation, record organisation and legal administration. His dual role combines direct client contact with the careful work behind the service, with a focus on clear information, confidentiality and attention to detail.
