Use the Perth NDIS cleaning page to prepare one address-specific household-support enquiry, not to assume a standard package for metropolitan Perth. Start with the participant’s chosen domestic tasks, the rooms or surfaces involved, access facts and the requested visit pattern. Smurfettes can then respond in writing about the proposed scope and current availability. A website page, provider description or quote does not determine whether an individual purchase can be paid from NDIS funds.
Describe the actions that are difficult to complete without assistance and that are being considered for the service. Name the exact room, fixture or accessible surface. Possible enquiries may concern wiping nominated kitchen surfaces, cleaning listed bathroom fixtures, vacuuming or mopping specified floor areas, dusting reachable household surfaces, or another ordinary task described in the written request.
Do not assume that a whole-room or whole-home checklist applies. The participant, nominee or another authorised person should select the priorities and identify anything that remains outside the service.
A recurring request should state the small core of work intended to repeat and the proposed frequency. A one-off request needs a bounded list for one appointment. Detailed build-up or a deep-clean proposal may require a different assessment and amount of time. An oven interior, cupboard interior, window, carpet treatment or laundry task should be identified separately so the response can say whether it is offered and how it is priced.
Repair, restoration, pest treatment, clinical decontamination, hazardous work, unsafe high-access activity and mould remediation are not implied by ordinary domestic cleaning. Vacate or end-of-tenancy cleaning follows its own scope and is not made an NDIS household-support cost by the participant moving home.
| Request field | What to record | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Area | Named room, fixture or surface | Prevents a generic property-wide assumption |
| Action | Wipe, dust, vacuum, mop or another stated task | Makes the proposed work checkable |
| Priority | Client-selected order | Shows what should happen if time is limited |
| Boundary | Items to leave, products, finish or movement limits | Protects the household’s instructions |
| Frequency | One appointment or requested repeat pattern | Allows a suitable quote to be prepared |
Record whether papers, medication, fragile possessions, mobility equipment, closed storage and personal laundry may be moved, require a question or must remain untouched. Distinguish the participant’s private rooms from agreed common areas and another resident’s space. A housemate, family member, support worker or housing contact may provide useful access information without having authority to alter scope or price.
When an address-specific assessment is required, privately provide the Perth street address and relevant parking, stairs or lift, agreed entrance, pets, communication preferences, clear routes and on-day contact. Do not place door codes, keys, a full NDIS plan, medical records or unrelated routines in a general enquiry. Sensitive entry information should use a suitable process after the recipient and purpose are confirmed.
The written response should identify products and equipment assumptions. Tell Smurfettes about a surface care instruction, scent preference or other relevant product limit. Do not rely on broad safety or outcome claims; ask how the exact restriction affects the proposed task. If the household supplies an item, name it and decide what happens if it is unavailable.
Service coverage, worker availability and a suitable start date are practical questions that must be answered for the request. A metropolitan area list cannot reserve a worker or time. Ask the response to state whether the address and proposed pattern can currently be considered, and treat any start date as provisional until it appears in the accepted written arrangement.
NDIS guidance says Core Supports may help with everyday activities such as cleaning. Funding may only be used when the purchased assistance is an NDIS support for that participant, relates to disability and is in line with the plan. Those conditions are individual; this Perth page cannot establish them.
Self-managed participants should follow current purchasing and evidence obligations. With plan management, confirm the plan manager’s authorisation and invoice process. NDIA-managed funding requires current registered-provider and my-provider arrangements for the proposed support. Smurfettes states that it is a registered NDIS provider, but registration does not make every cleaning line claimable.
Ask for the legal business entity, address or authorised reference, proposed date or frequency, separate included tasks, exclusions, access assumptions, products or equipment responsibility, expected duration or pricing basis, tax treatment, cancellation or travel terms where relevant, validity period and invoice fields. If a material fact changes, request a complete dated replacement or variation before the affected work proceeds.
After service, record each agreed task as delivered, changed with authority, paused or not delivered. Compare the service date, descriptions, quantity or duration, rate, tax and total with the final accepted scope. Keep any private-pay work distinct. Ask for clarification when a billed line cannot be traced to an authorised task rather than changing the request after the event.
Call 1300 525 336 or email info@smurfettescleaningservice.net. Send the room-and-action list, proposed frequency, exclusions and minimum practical access details, then share the full address through an appropriate channel. Ask Smurfettes to identify what it can offer, any unresolved facts and current availability. The participant or authorised person must still check funding fit and decide whether to accept the response.
These links separate nearby or similarly named regional catchments. Each page still requires an exact-address availability check.
