NDIS Cleaning Quote Comparison Tool

Start comparing quotes or use the quote request template to obtain like-for-like proposals, or contact Smurfettes.

This NDIS cleaning quote comparison tool records what each provider has actually written. It does not rank providers automatically and a lower estimated total is not necessarily a better fit if the scope, quantity or additional amounts differ. Use the same indoor task request for every column and mark missing information for clarification.

1. Identify the quotes

Quote A provider and date: _______________________________________________________

Quote B provider and date: _______________________________________________________

Quote C provider and date: _______________________________________________________

Same service address and task-list version used: [ ] yes [ ] no [ ] unclear

If a provider quoted a different scope, do not compare the totals as if the proposals were identical.

2. Compare provider and document identity

Check which entity will deliver the service and issue invoices. Similar business names are not a substitute for clear identity.

3. Compare the indoor scope

For each quote, mark Clear, Different or Not stated:

Material scope difference: ________________________________________________________

Use the NDIS cleaning quote guide to understand why a broad label such as “general clean” is not enough.

4. Compare service quantity and timing

Mark whether each time is a preference, estimate or confirmed booking. Do not infer a recurring place, particular cleaner or exact arrival time when the quote does not promise one.

5. Compare the price basis

Do not enter an assumed Smurfettes rate or a maximum price as if it were the provider’s offer. The NDIA’s pricing information explains the role of current arrangements, but the written quote remains the source for the proposed charge.

6. List every proposed additional amount

For each quote, record Stated amount, Included, Not applicable or Not stated beside:

A blank field is a question, not a zero.

7. Compare access and product fit

Mark any proposal that assumes unattended access or a product substitution the participant has not approved.

8. Compare payment and provider requirements

Relevant management pathway: self-managed / plan-managed / NDIA-managed / mixed / uncertain

The NDIA’s management guide explains the three options. Management affects administration and provider choice; it does not decide the service scope for the participant.

9. Compare changes and exit terms

Record what each quote or proposed agreement says about rescheduling, cancellation, scope variation, price change, pause and ending the service. Use exact wording or a document reference rather than a memory-based summary.

Quote A clarification needed: _______________________________________________________

Quote B clarification needed: _______________________________________________________

Quote C clarification needed: _______________________________________________________

10. Compare communication and complaint pathways

The NDIA’s provider-choice guidance suggests discussing delivery, cost, payment and changes before agreeing.

11. Record unanswered questions

  1. Question sent to Quote A provider: __________________________________________
  2. Question sent to Quote B provider: __________________________________________
  3. Question sent to Quote C provider: __________________________________________

Record the answer date and updated quote version. Do not alter an original quote; keep the replacement or written clarification with it.

12. Make the participant’s decision

Proposal that best matches the stated priorities: _____________________________________

Reason based on scope, delivery, price clarity, access and communication:

________________________________________________________________________________

Remaining condition before acceptance: ____________________________________________

The tool supports a decision; it does not guarantee funding, provider performance or future availability.

Move from comparison to agreement review

Read the guide to comparing NDIS cleaning quotes for interpretation. If a proposal is selected, use the service-agreement checklist on the actual next-step document.
