Choose rooms and surfaces
Tasks can include vacuuming, mopping, reachable dusting and agreed tidying without unapproved movement of belongings. A regular core list can have a separately agreed rotating priority.
For bathrooms, list floors, mirrors, basins, showers and toilets in priority order. For kitchens, separate benches, the sink, splashback and floor from appliance or cupboard interiors.
Explain existing conditions
Describe buildup, stains, damaged finishes and manufacturer care instructions. Uncertain surfaces can be assessed or excluded. Household cleaning does not repair, refinish or restore pre-existing damage. A particular cleaning result cannot be guaranteed.
Specialist hazards, food handling, pest treatment and appliance repairs are outside ordinary household cleaning. Unusual requests need assessment before inclusion.
Approve extras before work changes
An extra room or job may change the time, price or type of service. Nominate who can approve changes and agree them before the work is added. If approval is unavailable, the cleaner stays within the written task list.
