A clear task list for your home
Choose vacuuming for agreed rooms, mopping suitable floors, reachable dusting and standard kitchen and bathroom surface cleaning. Put the rooms in priority order and identify anything to leave untouched.
For example, you could prioritise bathroom fixtures and kitchen surfaces, followed by the living-area floor, while leaving the spare room and its contents alone.
Arrange arrival and changes
For a home outside a town centre, include useful entrance directions, gate or parking details and an arrival contact. Let us know who may accept the quote and approve extra work or costs, as well as who will arrange access.
Agree how changes to timing, access or cleaning priorities should be communicated before regular visits begin.
Extras and work needing assessment
Dishes, laundry, making beds, changing linen and organising cupboards can be included when agreed in writing with enough service time. Heavy build-up, appliance or cupboard interiors, internal glass and unfamiliar surfaces need assessment first.
Incidental handling for an agreed household task must be safe and authorised in the written scope. Items marked private or to stay in place must remain untouched. Packing, relocation or moving heavy items, gardening, outdoor work, repairs, personal care, transport, clinical work, mould or biohazard remediation and pest treatment are excluded. This household service does not include farm, forestry, commercial-property or exterior maintenance.
Check the agreed cleaning and any extras against your NDIS plan and payment arrangements with the appropriate funding contact before accepting the quote.
