Build your room-by-room plan
Choose the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom or living areas where help would be most useful. Routine tasks can include standard bathroom fixtures, suitable surface wiping, vacuuming and mopping agreed floors, and dusting within safe reach.
Put essential tasks first, identify areas to leave untouched and explain any surfaces needing particular care. Describe detailed catch-up work separately from the regular cleaning you want maintained.
Include additional household help
Laundry, dishes, making beds, linen changes and cupboard organisation can be discussed. Specify the work, such as which linen to change, and which belongings may be handled. Each extra task needs written agreement and enough service time.
This indoor household service excludes commercial accommodation cleaning, outbuildings and outdoor work. Packing, gardening, repairs, personal care and specialist mould or biohazard remediation are also excluded.
Plan access, timing and payment
