North Perth is an established inner suburb, and a lot of its housing reflects that: character homes and cottages on narrow lots, subdivided blocks with rear villas or units reached down a shared driveway, and newer infill apartments mixed in among them. Two practical things follow from that. Parking is often on-street and can be tight or restricted by permit zones, and rear dwellings are not always obvious from the street number.
When you enquire, tell us if the property is at the rear, whether there is a shared driveway, and whether parking is restricted at certain times. If a support worker lets the cleaner in, or there is a key safe, we note it on the job so nobody is left waiting at the wrong door.
Older homes often have timber floors, high skirtings and picture rails that collect dust faster than a modern build, so those are worth naming as priorities if they matter to you.
Weekly suits participants who find housework physically demanding or tiring. Fortnightly is the most common arrangement. Monthly works when you manage the day to day and want help with heavier jobs. We also run lighter recurring maintenance visits. If the interval turns out to be wrong, tell us and we will change it.
Not every request is ongoing. A single deeper clean is common after a hospital stay, before family visit, or when a home has got away from someone. A deep clean covers the same rooms with more time on build-up in kitchens and bathrooms and behind furniture where it can be moved safely. Vacate cleaning is available when a participant is leaving a rental or moving between supported accommodation. Whether any of these can be funded from a plan depends on the participant’s circumstances and what the plan allows.
Laundry can be included where it forms part of what you need, normally washing, drying, folding and putting away during the same visit, arranged in advance so the time is allowed for.
Cleaning is not automatically funded for every participant. Whether it can come from a plan depends on the participant’s goals, assessed needs and the supports approved in that plan. It is generally considered where a disability makes it unreasonable to expect the participant to do the cleaning, or a family member to do it for them. Your support coordinator or plan manager can confirm it, and we provide a written quote so the cost is clear beforehand.
Self-managed participants arrange the service with us directly and we invoice them. Plan-managed participants nominate their plan manager and invoices go there. NDIA-managed participants can use us because we are a Registered NDIS Provider, and we claim through the agency in the usual way.
We start with a conversation rather than a form: which rooms matter, whether anyone is usually home, how you prefer to be contacted, and anything a cleaner should know before walking in. We confirm the day, the length of the visit and the frequency in writing, and put a service agreement in place first where one is needed. Our cleaners hold National Police Clearances and NDIS Worker Screening Clearances, and we carry insurance.
Nominees, support coordinators and plan managers can deal with us directly. Call 1300 525 336 or email with the participant’s name and preferred contact, the suburb, how the plan is managed, the frequency you have in mind and anything about access. We can supply a quote and a service agreement for your records.
North Perth sits within a tight cluster of inner suburbs, so nearby visits are usually easy to schedule together. Areas include Highgate, Mount Lawley, Leederville, Mount Hawthorn, Glendalough, Joondanna, Tuart Hill, Yokine, Inglewood, West Perth, East Perth, Northbridge. You can also read about NDIS cleaning across Perth or see every area on our Western Australia page.
That is the aim and most participants do. If your regular cleaner is unavailable we tell you rather than send someone unannounced.
Not usually. Tell us if you would prefer your own products used, for example because of allergies or sensitivities.
No. We follow whatever access arrangement you set, including key safes and support-worker access.
We currently have cleaner capacity in Western Australia and can often arrange a start quickly, but we confirm availability for your address when you enquire rather than promise a date up front.
Call 1300 525 336 or send an enquiry with your suburb, how the plan is managed and how often you would like a cleaner. We will come back with a written quote and, if it suits, a start date.
