Need help with household cleaning in Brisbane? Tell Smurfettes which rooms and tasks matter most, your exact address and when you would like help. We can assess the requested work and discuss a written quote. Availability, the booking and any NDIS funding still need to be confirmed.
Household-cleaning tasks to discuss
Ordinary household-cleaning requests may include vacuuming nominated floors, mopping suitable areas, wiping reachable surfaces and cleaning specified kitchen or bathroom fixtures. Let us know which tasks you want included and anything that should be left alone.
For a home needing more concentrated work, see NDIS deep cleaning in Brisbane. Browse NDIS cleaning in Queensland for other local areas and services, or NDIS, DVA & Aged Care Cleaning Across Australia for wider programme information. These guides do not confirm address availability, provider status or funding.
Repairs, pest treatment, mould investigation or remediation, hazardous contamination, clinical work, restoration, unrestricted waste removal, heavy-item movement and work beyond safe reach need separate assessment. They are not ordinary household cleaning.
What to include in your enquiry
A few practical details help us assess the cleaning request. You do not need to send a diagnosis, complete plan, identity document, key or access code in the first enquiry.
| Detail | What to tell us |
|---|---|
| Home | The exact Brisbane street address, unit number and the part of the property where work is requested. |
| Entry | Stairs or lift, parking or loading limits, reception or building process, pets and the preferred way to arrange access. |
| Cleaning tasks | Each nominated room, the observable action in that room and any surface or item that must be left alone. |
| Agreed limits | Any budget, time or task limit that should not change without your approval. |
| Timing | Your preferred day, time window or visit frequency. The booking time needs written confirmation. |
For an apartment, shared home or complex, distinguish the participant’s private area from indoor shared areas and building common property. State who controls each requested area. Do not assume that a resident can approve work for a housemate, landlord, agent, body corporate, owners corporation or building manager.
Your contact and preferences
Tell us who can accept the quote, arrange entry, answer cleaning questions and receive invoices. One person may handle several of these tasks. Someone who provides access is not automatically authorised to change the work or price.
- Cleaning contact
- The participant or authorised person who confirms which domestic tasks belong in the enquiry.
- Entry contact
- The person who coordinates practical access. This role does not include changing tasks unless that authority is stated.
- Change approver
- The person who can accept changes to the agreed tasks, price, date or limits.
- Invoice contact
- The person or organisation that should receive the invoice and any required reference.
Record the participant’s preferred communication method and share only the information needed for the enquiry. If another resident or support person is involved, say what they may decide and what they may only communicate.
Check your NDIS funding
Before relying on plan funds, confirm the following with the appropriate authorised contact:
- Is the requested assistance related to the participant’s disability?
- Does it meet current NDIS support rules and align with the approved plan and relevant budget?
- Who is authorised to confirm the management method and invoice instructions?
A locality page, task list, quote or invoice cannot make an excluded or unapproved item fundable. The participant, nominee or other authorised funding contact needs to check the plan and available budget for the proposed support.
For self-managed funding, the participant or nominee generally manages the purchase and payment records. For plan-managed funding, the plan manager processes eligible invoices under the arrangement. NDIA-managed supports must be purchased from a registered provider. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can generally choose registered or unregistered providers unless the plan or a support-specific rule says otherwise, while an organisation acting as plan manager must be registered. These rules explain payment routes; they do not approve this enquiry or state that Smurfettes has a particular registration status.
Review the quote before accepting
Compare the written quote with your requested cleaning. It should make these details clear:
| Detail | What to check |
|---|---|
| Home and entry | The correct address, included property areas and relevant access assumptions. |
| Cleaning tasks | The rooms, actions, exclusions and any item that requires a separate assessment. |
| Agreed limits | How price, time or task limits operate and who may approve a change. |
| Timing | The proposed visit pattern or date, without turning a requested time into an unstated guarantee. |
| Contacts | The decision-maker, entry contact, invoice recipient and required billing reference. |
| Terms | The price and any relevant variation, cancellation or rescheduling conditions. |
Ask for a correction if the address, tasks, shared-area permissions or optional extras do not match what you requested. If a phone conversation differs from the written quote, ask for the document to be updated before accepting.
Vacate or end-of-tenancy cleaning follows a separately quoted private-pay pathway rather than NDIS Household Tasks funding. No cleaning quote can guarantee a bond return, inspection result, unlimited task completion or a particular condition of the home.
Request a household-cleaning quote in Brisbane
Call 1300 525 336 or email info@smurfettescleaningservice.net to discuss the cleaning you need. Include the exact address, priority tasks, preferred timing, access notes and an authorised contact. Keep keys, codes, identity documents, account credentials and unrelated health information out of the first message. Review the written quote and wait for confirmation of the service; an enquiry does not establish funding or availability.
