Need more detailed household cleaning than a regular visit covers? Tell Smurfettes which rooms and surfaces need attention, what condition they are in and what matters most to you. We can discuss a written task list and quote after checking the address, safe access and current appointment capacity. “Deep cleaning” is not a promise that every mark can be removed or every room finished in one visit.
Describe the work without sharing unnecessary personal details
For each priority room, describe ordinary dust, grease, bathroom buildup, floor marks or another visible cleaning issue. Note the surface type, anything fragile, areas that cannot be reached safely and products that must be avoided. Photos are optional and should only be shared with the participant’s or authorised person’s permission. We do not need a diagnosis, complete NDIS plan or unrelated household history for an initial quote.
Plan the work in four parts
A detailed visit can be planned in stages. Choose the order that is useful for your home:
- Everyday-use areas: name the accessible floors, standard bathroom fixtures and reachable kitchen surfaces that need attention first.
- Built-up household residue: identify suitable tiles, shower screens, washable cupboard fronts, skirtings or sills, and check that the surface and proposed product are appropriate.
- Selected detail areas: list tracks, edges, agreed interiors or areas beneath light movable items only where access is safe and moving an item is authorised.
- What happens afterward: discuss a shorter recurring task list, alternating detail tasks, participant-chosen priorities and anything the household will manage separately if ongoing help is wanted.
These are choices, not a promise that all four levels will be completed. You can leave a lower-priority item for another agreed visit.
Name exact tasks and safe stopping points
Rather than “deep clean the home”, list the shower screen, reachable wall tile, vanity exterior, oven interior, rangehood filter, cupboard front, floor edge or track that you want assessed. The quote should say which tasks are included, excluded or need a closer look. Appliance interiors and similar detail work are not assumed to be part of an ordinary surface clean.
Before work starts, confirm access, the accepted task list and any new safety issue. If a surface is uncertain, agree whether a suitable small-area method check is needed. If time is limited, ask before moving from priority work to optional detail. At the end, record what was completed, deferred or stopped so that a change is not silently treated as extra time or a different service.
Keep specialist and property issues separate
Built-up ordinary household residue on a known, suitable surface may be domestic cleaning. Mould investigation, biohazards, pest contamination, structural damage, restoration, clinical cleaning, high access and unknown substances need separate assessment. Repairs, landlord or property-manager work, common-property maintenance and tenancy rectification belong with the responsible party. Stop the affected task and continue only with other safe, agreed work. A cleaning quote should not rename specialist or property work as routine cleaning.
Protect surfaces, belongings and access
Tell us about natural stone, unsealed material, damaged coatings, delicate fittings, product sensitivities and items that must stay in place. Decide who may approve moving an object, disposing of anything or changing a cleaning method. Unknown belongings are not rubbish, and a cleaner should not reorganise personal items by assumption.
Include practical arrival details such as parking, stairs or lifts, pets, mobility equipment, water and power access, private rooms and the person available to answer a question. Keep keys and entry codes out of the first enquiry; arrange any needed access securely. We will confirm whether the requested tasks, safe access and preferred timing can be accommodated before a booking is made.
Check NDIS funding and provider details
Detailed household cleaning must be an NDIS support for this participant, relate to their disability support needs and fit their plan and current rules before NDIS funds are used. Separate ordinary household expenses, specialist work, property responsibilities and work for other residents. The NDIS excludes exit cleaning that is a direct cost of meeting a tenancy agreement. If routine disability-related household cleaning is also needed around a move, describe those tasks separately and ask the authorised funding contact to check them against the plan before booking. A quote does not approve individual funding.
Smurfettes Service Pty Ltd is registered for Household Tasks. NDIA-managed funding requires a registered provider for the relevant support; plan-managed and self-managed arrangements have different provider and invoice steps. Registration does not decide whether this particular task can be claimed. Ask the participant’s plan manager, support coordinator or NDIS contact to confirm the correct funding and payment path.
Get a clear quote and check the finished work
Ask for the address, included tasks, priority order, estimated time or quantity, rate or price basis, stated extras, exclusions and the person who can approve a change to be written down. If the condition cannot be assessed from the enquiry, the quote should say what remains uncertain. If several visits are proposed, ask what each visit is intended to cover. Get the participant’s or authorised person’s written approval of any change to scope, price or method before the affected work proceeds.
After a visit, compare the dated service record and invoice with the accepted quote. Check work actually delivered, tasks stopped or deferred, approved changes, time or quantity, rate and total. Ask for correction if an invoice describes a whole room or stage as completed when part was not done. You may also discuss a shorter regular task list, but no result or ongoing appointment is guaranteed by one detailed visit.

Ask for a written deep-cleaning quote
Call 1300 525 336 or email info@smurfettescleaningservice.net with the address, priority rooms, visible condition, access needs and preferred timing. We can discuss a written task list and quote. An enquiry does not confirm funding, a particular result or an appointment.
