Set the tasks for each visit
Cleaning can include accessible surface wiping, reachable dusting, bathrooms and toilets, vacuuming and mopping. Give care instructions for surfaces and identify belongings or rooms to leave untouched. Explain any first-visit priorities that differ from ongoing maintenance.
Dishes, laundry, folding and linen changes can be included by written agreement with adequate time.
Agree the household areas
For a shared home, list private rooms and common-room work separately. If the address also serves a business, keep that work separate from residential cleaning. Building-wide cleaning is outside a household quote.
Coordinate entry and changes
Include relevant parking, entrance, gate, intercom and pet details. If someone meets the cleaner or helps with booking, explain their role and who can approve changes.
Repairs, personal care and specialist mould or biohazard cleaning are excluded. Confirm funding suitability for the proposed support if you intend to pay through your NDIS plan.
