Describe the rooms and priorities
Agreed tasks may include suitable kitchen surfaces, standard bathrooms and toilets, vacuuming or mopping named rooms, reachable dusting and tidying that does not require moving personal belongings. Put the most important tasks first and identify anything that should not be touched. Another household member’s separate tasks are not automatically included in the participant’s cleaning scope.
You can tell us about product preferences, surfaces with care instructions and equipment available at the home. The quote can state what is expected from each party. Ask before the visit if a product or method has not been agreed.
Appliance interiors, cupboard interiors and unusual surfaces need separate assessment. Food handling, pest treatment, appliance repair, restoration, heavy-item movement and specialist or hazardous work are outside routine household cleaning.
Agree any high-access work before booking. A recurring core task list can be recorded separately from occasional requests or a rotating priority in the written quote.
Agree the visit and communication
Tell us your preferred days or time window and who should receive a brief update about completed priorities or any unfinished lower-priority task. The authorised contact can approve changes to the agreed scope.

Do not include access codes, key details, a complete NDIS plan or unrelated medical information in the first enquiry. Arrange any key or secure entry details before the appointment.
Smurfettes Service Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS provider for Household Tasks. NDIS cleaning may be funded when it relates to your disability support needs and is in line with your NDIS plan. Funding for a specific service depends on the participant’s plan and the applicable rules. Check with your plan manager, support coordinator or NDIS contact if unsure. The booking is confirmed after you accept the written quote and Smurfettes confirms the appointment time.
