Need household-cleaning help in Randwick? Tell Smurfettes which rooms and tasks matter most, your exact address and when you would like help. We can discuss the requested cleaning, access and a written quote so you can decide what works for your household.

Cleaning that supports your household priorities

Tell us what you would like help keeping usable, such as an agreed bathroom, floors or an accessible kitchen work area. Include the Randwick address and the parts of the home involved. The requested assistance still needs to be considered against the participant’s individual NDIS support needs.

Choose the tasks you want included

Describe the cleaning in each priority room. For example, you might ask for vanity surfaces to be wiped, the toilet cleaned and a clear floor area mopped. Tell us about items that should not be moved, product restrictions, unreachable areas and whether tidying or waste handling is excluded.

Choose the type of cleaning you need

Category What to discuss Do not assume
Routine Repeat actions, rooms and proposed frequency Deep-detail work is included
Deep or spring Extra detail, item limits and one defined scope It can recur under the routine price
One-off Single visit, exact task list and finish point A continuing schedule exists
Laundry Wash, dry, fold or put-away actions Every stage is requested
Vacate or exit Tenancy handover scope and private payment record It is an NDIS household-task cost

Access to your home

Include the entry arrangements, parking or building instructions, stairs or lift, pets, communication preference and the arrival contact. Share only what is needed for safe access and the agreed cleaning. Providing access does not authorise extra rooms, purchases or changes to the work.

Share the details needed for cleaning

A diagnosis, full plan or unrelated support notes are not automatically needed for a quote. Tell us about the cleaning, access and payment arrangements that matter. In a shared home, identify private and common areas and who can approve the work.

Name your authorised contact

Tell us who can approve the cleaning, access arrangements, price or later changes, and who should receive invoices. These may be different people. A participant can direct personal preferences, and a nominee or authorised representative may approve a purchase. A plan manager’s payment role does not replace household consent, and a property manager cannot make a tenancy cost an NDIS support. Clarify any uncertainty before the affected work is accepted.

Check your NDIS support and funding

For any proposed NDIS-funded line, check that it relates to the participant’s disability support needs, is an NDIS support, is consistent with the plan and available budget, and follows current funding rules. Ordinary living expenses and direct tenancy costs such as exit cleaning remain outside the claim. A provider label, quote, invoice or previous payment does not establish that the present task meets the test.

Your plan-management arrangement

For self-managed funding, apply current self-management rules, decide whether the support and price are suitable, and retain the required records. For a plan-managed line, ask the plan manager which quote and invoice evidence it needs before sending that line. For an NDIA-managed line, check the current registration and my-provider steps for the chosen business before agreement. If the support test is unresolved, keep that line out of an NDIS-funded total or mark a separate private-payment decision.

Review the written quote

Check the address, tasks, type of service, frequency or visit date, exclusions, access arrangements, products or equipment, price, tax and how long the quote remains valid. Private-pay tasks should be separate from any proposed NDIS-funded work. Compare the same requested tasks when reviewing quotes.

If something changes before the visit

Tell us about a blocked surface, product restriction, unavailable key, private-room change, safety concern or extra task. The affected work should wait for an authorised decision. Other agreed tasks can continue only where they remain safe and independent of the unresolved issue.

After the cleaning visit

Keep a brief record of the date, address, tasks completed and any agreed changes or unfinished work. Check the invoice for the participant or purchaser, business name, service date, task description, quantity or time, rate, total, tax and payment details. Ask about a charge that does not match the accepted quote.

A final check before accepting or paying

  1. Check that the quoted tasks match the cleaning you requested.
  2. Check the rooms, tasks and agreed limits.
  3. Confirm any necessary permission or access arrangements.
  4. Confirm the applicable private, self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed payment arrangement.
  5. Compare the service information and invoice with the accepted quote.

Ask for clarification if a task, permission or charge is unclear. A repeat booking or previous payment does not automatically confirm a changed request.
