Looking for NDIS household cleaning in Maroubra? Tell Smurfettes which rooms you want cleaned, where we should ask before moving anything and which areas should remain untouched. We can discuss the tasks, check your address and preferred timing, and provide a written quote.

Choose the rooms and areas to include

Identify the areas available for the requested cleaning, those that need permission first and any rooms or items that must be left alone. Use a simple written list if that is helpful. Share only details needed to quote and arrange the work.

Describe the cleaning you want

Name the task as well as the room. Examples include vacuuming an accessible bedroom floor, mopping a hard-floor area, dusting reachable furniture or wiping an agreed bathroom fixture. List tasks separately when they need different methods or priorities.

  • Identify the room, zone or fixture precisely enough to recognise it.
  • State an inclusion boundary and any item that must stay untouched.
  • Include any important instruction about how the area should be left.

Ask before moving personal belongings

Tell us which paperwork, medicines, mobility devices, fragile items, laundry or other residents’ belongings should not be moved. Name the person who may answer questions. If that person cannot be reached, leave the affected item or task until permission is clear.

Keep keys, door codes, full support timetables and unrelated health information out of the initial enquiry. Share sensitive entry details separately once the recipient and purpose are confirmed.

Separate work needing a different service

A closed room, damaged surface, hazardous condition or work requiring a specialist should be recorded as outside the proposed household-cleaning scope. Clinical decontamination, repair, restoration, pest work and unsafe high-access tasks are not ordinary additions. Ask for a separate assessment where appropriate instead of allowing the quote to absorb them silently.

Plan entry and clear access

Include the exact address and relevant parking, entrance, intercom, stairs or lift, pets and communication preferences. Tell us which routes must remain clear. Ask what to do if the agreed route is blocked or access changes on the day.

Put the most important tasks first

List tasks in the order that matters to you. If the visit time may not cover them all, agree which can wait, move to another visit or need an additional quote. Priorities do not override surface-care instructions or excluded areas.

Check your quote against the request

The quote should show the included cleaning, any ask-first or excluded areas, products, equipment, date or frequency and price. Check the business details, tax, relevant travel or cancellation terms and invoice information. Ask for more detail if a whole-home price does not make the tasks clear.

NDIS funding for the requested cleaning

NDIS Core Supports can include assistance with everyday activities such as cleaning, but each purchase still needs to be an NDIS support for the person, relate to disability and align with the plan. Making an area available for cleaning does not decide whether NDIS funds may be used.

Apply the rules for the participant’s management arrangement. Self-management carries purchasing and record obligations; plan management uses the plan manager’s payment process; and NDIA-managed support involves current registered-provider and my-provider requirements. Keep any private-pay work and its invoice treatment separate.

Agree changes before the work changes

If an area becomes blocked, permission changes or you want an extra task, discuss the affected work before it continues. Check any effect on price or timing and confirm who may approve the change. Spare time or a previous appointment does not add new work.

Check the completed work and invoice

Ask which tasks were completed, changed, paused or left out. Compare the time, quantities, rates and total with the final accepted quote. Ask about any charge for work that needed permission or was excluded.
