Build a room-by-room scope
Possible tasks include bathroom and toilet fixtures, vacuuming or mopping named rooms, dusting within safe reach and agreed tidying without unapproved item movement. Put the most important rooms first. Tell us about product preferences, manufacturer care instructions, delicate surfaces and equipment available at home. Do not assume a product, equipment or method is included; ask for any effect on time or price to be written into the quote. In a shared home, identify the participant’s rooms, agreed common areas and who may approve a change. Do not add rooms, tasks, time or price until the authorised person approves the change. If priorities exceed the agreed visit time, defer or exclude lower-priority tasks as agreed.
Funding, privacy and booking
NDIS funding depends on whether the agreed household tasks relate to the participant’s disability support needs, fit the plan and meet current NDIS rules. Confirm payment with the plan manager or appropriate NDIS contact. Smurfettes Service Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS provider for Household Tasks. This registration does not decide whether an individual request can be funded. Smurfettes can provide a written quote and invoice for agreed work; these service documents do not confirm NDIS funding. In the first enquiry, share the address, priorities, frequency and necessary access needs. Keep keys, codes, a complete plan and unrelated health information out. Agree a secure way to share necessary entry details after appointment arrangements are confirmed.
