Dated information: the figures on this page were checked against the NDIA’s NDIS Pricing Schedule 2026–27, version 1.2, published 22 July 2026 and effective from 1 July 2026. Recheck the current official pricing page before relying on any figure.
At 4 September 2026, the schedule row for House Cleaning And Other Household Activities, support item 01_020_0120_1_1, uses an hourly unit and shows:
These are published schedule figures. They are not a statement of Smurfettes prices, an automatic invoice amount, a guaranteed reimbursement or a decision that a participant can use funding for a particular clean.
The NDIA describes its pricing information as guidance on appropriate maximum prices. It also says participants and providers can negotiate an appropriate and reasonable price and must agree to changes before they are made. A provider may quote below a published maximum. A page that simply repeats the maximum has not given an address-specific quote.
Ask for the actual rate, unit, estimated quantity, expected total, inclusions, exclusions and every possible extra in writing. The cleaning quote guide sets out the full check.
A schedule row describes a support item and pricing guidance. It does not add money to a plan, reserve a budget, prove a service is disability-related or override the participant’s plan. The proposed indoor household cleaning still needs to be an NDIS support, relate to the participant’s disability-related needs and be in line with the plan and current rules.
Before accepting a recurring service, confirm the relevant budget and management method with the participant, plan manager, support coordinator or my NDIS contact as appropriate. Do not use an SEO page as a funding decision.
National, remote and very remote are not interchangeable labels and are not selected merely by state, postcode familiarity or driving distance. The applicable classification must be checked using the current NDIA rules and location method. A regional address is not automatically “remote”, and a remote schedule figure does not prove that a provider services the address.
The written quote should name the service address and identify the price basis it used. If a remote loading is proposed, ask for the classification and source rather than guessing.
For an hourly proposal, the basic arithmetic is:
agreed hourly rate × estimated service hours = estimated labour amount
That amount remains an estimate if the final hours can change. It also does not include a separate product, travel, cancellation, non-face-to-face or GST amount unless the written agreement lawfully includes and explains that item. Never add a fee simply because another provider charges it.
The budget priorities guide can help identify which tasks matter most before comparing indicative hours. Any arithmetic remains planning only, not a booking, funding approval or claim instruction.
A valid comparison needs the current item name, number, unit and any applicable claim-type information. The official Support Catalogue guidance explains that the catalogue lists supports used for payment requests and identifies applicable claim types. Read it together with the current pricing schedule.
For the household-cleaning item itself, use the support item 01_020_0120_1_1 guide. Do not substitute the nearby yard-maintenance, linen, personal-care or meal-related items for an indoor cleaning service.
The scheduled hourly figure does not answer who supplies cleaning products, whether travel is proposed, whether a minimum duration applies, how failed access is handled or whether GST applies to the actual supply. Those points belong in the quote or service agreement.
No Smurfettes value for these items is stated on this page.
A new financial year or revised schedule does not silently rewrite an existing commercial agreement. NDIA guidance says proposed changes to existing service agreements must be discussed and participants must agree before the changes are made. Record the new rate, the reason, the effective date and the participant or authorised person’s acceptance.
Use the price-change guide when the scope, rate or visit pattern changes.
When comparing providers, align the same task list, expected hours, frequency, address and product responsibility. Then compare the base amount, disclosed extras and service terms. A lower rate for an incomplete scope is not necessarily better value, and a maximum figure is not evidence of quality.
The NDIA’s participant pricing explanation and 2026–27 schedule were reviewed on 4 September 2026. The documents are subject to change, so verify the live version at the decision and invoice dates.
Email info@smurfettescleaningservice.net with the exact address, indoor task list, access notes, preferred frequency and payment pathway. Smurfettes can assess that request and provide a written response based on current capacity and the proposed scope. The schedule figures above do not reserve a cleaner or state the price Smurfettes will quote.
