Make timing and access separate decisions
Give possible arrival windows and say whether someone will be at home. If another person will help with access, explain how the team should contact them and whether they are also authorised to approve the cleaning scope. Do not send keys, door codes or alarm details in the first enquiry.
For example: “The home is in South Hedland. Please assess a regular indoor clean, with the bathroom and kitchen surfaces first. I can discuss two possible weekday arrival windows. Please leave the office and papers untouched.” This explains a request; it does not book a visit or specify a guaranteed number of hours.
Identify work outside a routine clean
Additional household tasks such as washing dishes, laundry, making beds, changing linen or organising cupboards must be discussed and specifically agreed in the written scope and available service time. They are not automatic inclusions in a routine clean, and agreement to a task does not confirm NDIS funding.
Heavy build-up, appliance or cupboard interiors, internal glass and unfamiliar surfaces require assessment and written acceptance. Moving items, outdoor work, repairs, personal care, transport, clinical work, mould or biohazard remediation and pest treatment are not included in this household-cleaning service.
If the task list changes after a quote, ask for the change to be reviewed. Do not assume extra rooms or a more intensive clean fit within the original price or visit time.
