Discuss tile and grout cleaning for your Perth home or business. Tell Smurfettes about the tiled areas, material, condition and work you need so a suitable method and quote can be agreed before booking.

Choose the tiled areas that need attention

You can ask about kitchen, bathroom, laundry, living-area and entrance floors, splashbacks or other suitable tiled surfaces. Describe built-up dirt, marks, grout staining or mould and mildew in wet areas so the work can be assessed.

For offices, shops, restaurants, hotels or medical premises, include the site’s access, operating hours and specific cleaning requirements. Specialist hygiene or clinical requirements need separate confirmation.

A method suited to the tiles and grout

The material, grout and condition need checking before treatment. Where appropriate, the work can include removing loose dry soil, pre-treating agreed areas and using the Turbo Force cleaning system to rinse with pressure while extracting wastewater. The method and pressure need to suit the surface.

Point out loose tiles, cracked grout, damaged sealers, stone or other delicate materials before work is agreed. Cleaning does not repair damaged surfaces or guarantee removal of every mark, stain or mould problem. Persistent damp or mould may need separate investigation.

Grout sealing and additional requests

If you would like grout sealing after cleaning, ask for it to be assessed and quoted separately. Suitability depends on the grout, surface and existing treatments. Sealing should not be treated as a permanent barrier against stains, moisture or mould.

We review the completed clean with you and discuss any concerns. Let us know which areas matter most when the quote is arranged.

Pricing, scheduling and tenancy work

Tile and grout cleaning is priced by square metre, with a minimum service charge. Provide the approximate area, surface details and condition so the agreed work and any additional treatment can be quoted.

You can ask about a one-off clean, cleaning before a tenancy handover, or appointments around your business hours. Include any after-hours or weekend preference so timing can be confirmed. A cleaning service does not guarantee a bond refund or an inspection result.

You can also ask about a refresh before selling or regular tile maintenance for a home or business. Tell us your preferred schedule, including any daily, weekly or fortnightly visits, so suitable tasks, frequency and appointment arrangements can be confirmed.

Preparing for the visit

Discuss furniture and items that need moving, safe access to the tiled areas, and how the space will be used during and after cleaning. Tell us about any access needs or objects that cannot be moved.

Confirm the products and equipment arrangements for your agreed clean before booking. Please tell us about product preferences, allergies or sensitivities before the visit so suitable products and precautions can be discussed. If you would prefer us to use products you already have, let us know.

Ask the office to confirm the checks, insurance and experience relevant to the cleaner assigned to your visit before booking. For NDIS participant services, the office confirms the applicable worker screening requirements before arranging the clean.

Agree how the cleaner will enter and leave the property, and arrange keys or access codes directly with the team. Keep private documents and valuables secure. Tell us about pets, delicate surfaces, existing damage or anything that affects access. Include only the details needed for your initial enquiry.

Cleaning arranged through support services

If you use NDIS or DVA support, ask the participant or authorised funding contact to confirm the specific tile and grout work, provider and payment arrangements before booking. A specialist-cleaning quote does not establish funding approval.

Frequently asked questions

How is the tile and grout cleaning price worked out?

The quoted area is measured in square metres and a minimum service charge applies. Surface condition, access and requested extras affect the proposed work. Confirm the included areas and total price before booking.

Can every tile or grout stain be removed?

Some staining, wear or damage may remain. The material, previous treatments and condition need assessment before a method is agreed. Cleaning is not a repair or a guarantee that mould will not return.

Is grout sealing included?

Grout sealing needs separate assessment and a quote. Ask about it when enquiring so suitability, preparation, cost and care instructions can be discussed.

What are the booking and cancellation terms?

Confirm the visit duration, minimum service charge and quoted scope before booking. Please tell us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change a visit. Private bookings cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice have no cancellation fee. For NDIS-funded bookings, any cancellation claim must be permitted by the applicable NDIS rules and meet all claiming conditions, with terms agreed in your service agreement. Read our terms and conditions and ask about the terms that apply to your booking.
