Identify tasks and private spaces
Cleaning can include kitchen benches, sinks and external surfaces, bathrooms and toilets, vacuuming, mopping and reachable dusting. Name rooms to leave out, fragile items not to touch and belongings that must stay in place.
Another household member’s separate tasks are not automatically part of the participant’s service. Specialist hazards, restoration and work to remedy existing damage are outside ordinary household cleaning. Cleaning outcomes cannot be guaranteed, particularly for damaged surfaces.
Nominate who can approve changes
Tell us whether you or an authorised contact can change tasks, time or price, and choose phone or email for instructions. Share only contact information relevant to the service.
Agree a revised task list before work changes. If the authorised person cannot be reached, the cleaner stays with the written arrangements. An instruction from someone else in the home does not automatically change the quote.
Arrange booking changes
Ask how to report an access change, unavailable contact or different date. Before accepting, confirm the cancellation and rescheduling terms, including any applicable timing or fees.
