Agree the cleaning and boundaries
A written scope may include vacuuming or mopping named rooms, dusting reachable surfaces, agreed tidying without unapproved item movement, and a core recurring list with a separately agreed occasional priority. Appliance interiors, high or restricted surfaces, heavy-item movement and specialist treatment need separate discussion. Another person’s separate tasks are not included automatically; identify them in the request and agree them with the authorised contact. Mention damaged finishes, existing stains or manufacturer care instructions. The quote should not promise repair, restoration or a particular result for pre-existing damage.
Identify who may approve changes to tasks, time or price. If that person cannot be reached, work stays within the written scope. Do not assume ladders or specialist access equipment are available.
