This page is for an NDIS participant, nominee or authorised contact arranging ordinary household cleaning at a Caboolture service address. Before accepting a booking, Smurfettes checks that exact address, reviews the requested domestic work and prepares a written quote.

Use this page for a Caboolture address

The locality boundary matters: a Caboolture enquiry is assessed using the street address and access information supplied. The page does not treat another nearby locality, or every Queensland address, as automatically available. A suburb name is not a booking confirmation, so include the full service address when you ask for a quote.

Prepare a first-visit brief

A short room-by-room brief gives the participant control over what is discussed. It can record:

  • The participant’s rooms and any shared areas to be considered
  • The domestic jobs that should receive the highest priority
  • Objects, rooms or storage that must not be moved or opened
  • Delicate surfaces, preferred products or product sensitivities
  • Whether the request is for one visit or recurring assistance

Examples of ordinary tasks include accessible bathroom cleaning, kitchen surface cleaning, vacuuming, mopping and dusting. Include only the jobs you want assessed. The brief becomes the basis for the proposed scope instead of a generic promise to clean the whole home.

Decide how visit time should be allocated

For a recurring arrangement, explain which jobs are expected each visit and which can be discussed less often. For a single household clean, define the rooms and stopping point. If the requested work may exceed the time being considered, give an order of priority rather than assuming every item will be finished. A future change in rooms, task volume or frequency can be reviewed before the quote is updated.

Plan entry and communication

Describe parking, gates, steps, keys, pets, mobility equipment or another feature that could affect safe entry and movement through the home. State who will provide access and whether that person may make decisions or is present only to open the property. You can also request a limited completion update and nominate the person authorised to receive it.

Identify work outside the household scope

Ordinary domestic cleaning does not include repairs, building maintenance, pest treatment, clinical work, hazardous-material handling or specialist restoration. Restricted-height work and jobs needing specialist equipment require a separate assessment. A large one-off reset needs its own detailed scope. Bond, exit or end-of-tenancy cleaning responds to a tenancy handover and is offered separately as private-pay work.

Confirm plan fit before accepting the quote

NDIS funding may support household cleaning only when the assistance is connected to the participant’s disability needs and is consistent with the approved plan. The presence of an NDIS plan does not approve a particular cleaning request. Ask the participant or an authorised funding contact to confirm the proposed support and management method before service begins.

For self-managed funding, the participant or nominee can nominate the required billing details. For plan-managed funding, provide the plan manager’s invoicing information. For an NDIA-managed arrangement, confirm any additional booking requirements. The quote and later invoice should describe the domestic tasks that were agreed.

Record authority in a shared home

Separate the participant’s private rooms from any common areas included in the request. Work that relates only to another resident is not assumed to belong in the participant’s funded scope. Record who may accept the quote, alter the task order, receive billing documents or communicate about access. Personal information that is not needed to arrange the service should not be included.

Send a Caboolture quote request

Call 1300 525 336 or send an enquiry. Provide the Caboolture address, room-by-room brief, task priorities, proposed date or frequency, access plan, communication preferences, authorised decision-maker and invoicing contact. These details allow address availability to be checked and, where the request can be scoped, a written quote to be prepared.

The Queensland NDIS Cleaning Directory lists household, deep, spring, one-off, vacate and laundry information for wider navigation. It is a directory, not confirmation that a service is available at a particular address.
