Care for your rooms and belongings
Explain what should be cleaned and what should remain undisturbed. In a shared home, identify private rooms and common spaces and who can agree access. Tell us about delicate surfaces and preferred products before tasks are settled.
A detailed catch-up clean needs its own assessment of work and time. Specialist mould or biohazard treatment is excluded from household maintenance.
Discuss help with household tasks
Dishes, laundry, bed-making, linen changes and cupboard organisation can be included when agreed in writing with sufficient time. Be clear about permissions to handle possessions or organise storage. Packing, gardening, repairs and personal care are excluded.
Choose how to coordinate visits
Nominate a contact person and explain any representative’s role in agreeing the work. Include practical stairs, parking, pet or shared-entry details. Confirm funding and payment with your plan manager or NDIS contact before accepting; an agreed task does not determine NDIS eligibility.
