Cleaning before or after a move
If you are moving, say which address needs cleaning and whether the visit is before or after the move. Regular cleaning at your new home and an end-of-tenancy clean at the old home are separate services and need separate quotes. Agree the tasks for any vacate clean separately. As a general rule, NDIS funding does not cover exit cleaning that is a direct cost of meeting a tenancy agreement. Limited transitional exceptions may apply to certain existing plans; ask your NDIS contact to check whether an exception applies before booking. If you need routine disability-related household cleaning before or after the move, describe those tasks separately and ask your authorised funding contact to check them against your plan before booking.
Choose the work and protect your belongings
List bathroom fixtures, kitchen surfaces, reachable dusting and floors to vacuum or mop. Put the most important tasks first. Describe build-up separately from regular maintenance so it can be assessed.
Identify rooms to leave closed, possessions to leave untouched, delicate finishes and product restrictions. Any extra work requested by another household member needs agreement. Tell us who can approve changes to tasks, time or price.
Prepare for the visit
Share entrance and parking details, including multiple dwellings, stairs, gates or pets where relevant. Dishes, laundry, folding and linen changes need written agreement and enough time.
Gardening, building repairs, personal care and specialist mould or biohazard treatment are outside this household-cleaning service.
