Household cleaning for veterans on the Central Coast. Smurfettes Cleaning offers domestic cleaning across the Central Coast. Tell us about the help you need at home so we can discuss the tasks and confirm the cleaning scope and appointment.
DVA cleaning for Central Coast veterans
We discuss the clean around your needs and the agreed tasks. Regular cleaning and one-off requests need an agreed quote and appointment. If you want to use DVA support, confirm the approval, provider and payment arrangements before booking. We aim to keep the same cleaner where possible.
What our Central Coast cleaners can help with

- Kitchens: benches, sinks, stovetops, splashbacks and floors
- Bathrooms and toilets: cleaning showers, tiles, mirrors and fixtures
- Living areas and bedrooms: dusting, vacuuming, mopping and tidying
- Laundry help: washing, drying, folding and changing linen
- Regular domestic assistance and one-off deep cleans
How DVA cleaning is funded
DVA has different pathways for help with household cleaning. Under Veterans’ Home Care (VHC), an assessment agency assesses your needs and allocates approved services to a contracted provider. A contribution generally applies. Eligibility depends on your card and circumstances, including living at home and needing help with domestic tasks. DVA Household Services is a separate pathway that requires individual approval.
Before booking with Smurfettes, confirm with your DVA assessor or authorised funding contact which pathway applies, whether the requested cleaning is approved, and whether Smurfettes can provide it under those arrangements. Confirm the tasks, hours, provider and payment arrangements, including any contribution. We will confirm the requested work, quote and appointment. A quote does not confirm DVA approval.
Discuss the cleaning you need and request a free, no-obligation quote. Confirm any DVA approval and provider arrangements before booking.
Planning your cleaning visit
- Agreed household tasks: discuss the cleaning you need and confirm the work in writing.
- Continuity where possible: we aim to send the same cleaner, subject to availability and the agreed appointment.
- Respectful and discreet: your home, your routine, your privacy.
- Check your address: tell us your suburb or street so we can confirm service arrangements.
Other DVA cleaning guides
Other existing DVA cleaning guides include Hornsby, Manly and Penrith. See our DVA cleaning across Sydney page for how the service works.
For an initial enquiry, share your suburb, preferred tasks and a way to contact you. Please do not send card details, medical records or other sensitive documents through the enquiry form. We can discuss any information needed for funding arrangements separately.
Frequently asked questions
Is cleaning covered by DVA?
It depends on your individual approval and provider arrangements. VHC services are assessed and allocated to a contracted provider; DVA Household Services requires separate individual approval. Before booking, confirm the approved tasks, hours, provider and payment arrangements with your DVA assessor or authorised funding contact, then discuss the visit with us.
Which parts of the Central Coast do you service?
Tell us your suburb or street when you enquire so we can confirm whether we can arrange a visit to your address.
Can I keep the same cleaner?
Wherever possible, yes. We aim to send the same person each visit so you do not have to re-explain your needs.
