Looking for a one-off household clean on the Central Coast? Tell Smurfettes which rooms and surfaces need attention, their current condition and any care instructions. We can discuss the requested tasks, check your address and prepare a written quote. Funding, availability and a particular cleaning result are not guaranteed by an enquiry.
Name the rooms and surfaces to clean
Tell us which areas matter most, such as a sealed kitchen floor or a painted living-room shelf. Different finishes or conditions may need different care, even within one room.
Share relevant surface-care instructions
Let us know about manufacturer instructions, care labels, product restrictions or household directions that affect the cleaning. If you are unsure of a material or finish, say so. It should not be guessed from its colour or appearance.
Cleaning, repair and restoration
Describe the household dirt or routine cleaning task you want help with. Damage, mould treatment, pest work, stain restoration, resurfacing, repairs and specialist remediation need separate assessment and are not automatically part of a one-off clean.
Products and methods to discuss
Tell us about agreed methods, such as dry dusting or use of a labelled neutral product, and any tools, heat, moisture or pressure that should be avoided. Unfamiliar surfaces and methods should be clarified before cleaning.
Who can answer a surface-care question
The participant or nominee can explain preferences and give permission for areas they control. Another resident, owner, landlord, manufacturer or suitable specialist may need to answer a question about a particular finish. Unresolved material questions should not be left for a household cleaner to guess.
If a surface is unsuitable or uncertain
If the material, method or permission is uncertain, the surface should stay outside the agreed visit until clarified. The quote can still cover other suitable tasks and should name any excluded surface clearly.
Testing a product on a surface
Even a test in a hidden area can change a finish. Any test needs an agreed method and appropriate permission. If a suitable test has not been approved, the surface should remain excluded.
Tell us about existing condition
Mention chips, wear, discolouration or instability where they affect the cleaning. A short description is often enough. If a photo is needed, agree what it should show, who will receive it, how it will be shared and when it will be deleted.
Access and privacy
Tell us which rooms can be entered, what furniture must stay in place, and any relevant pets, stairs or communication preferences. Permission to clean a surface does not authorise entry elsewhere. Share keys, codes and alarm instructions securely only once the service, date and recipient are confirmed.
Shared household areas
For shared benches, floors or bathroom fittings, identify who can approve the cleaning method and how the work should be allocated. An entire shared surface should not automatically become one participant’s NDIS request simply because they use the room.
Set realistic expectations
A quote should state the agreed method, area and amount of work. Cleaning does not guarantee every mark will disappear or an older surface will look new. Ask about result limits before accepting, and keep restoration work separate.
Who will supply the products
Confirm who will provide each agreed product and where it will be available. If it is missing, unlabelled or different on the day, the affected task needs clarification before another product is used.
Review your written quote
Check the rooms, surfaces, methods, quantities, products, access, exclusions and price. If a room has several different finishes, ask for their care requirements to be made clear before you accept.
Check NDIS funding separately
Household cleaning may be considered only where it relates to the participant’s disability support needs and meets current plan and NDIS requirements. Questions about the plan, available budget or payment route can be directed to a plan manager, support coordinator or my NDIS contact. Current provider requirements should be verified for NDIA-managed funding.
If an unexpected condition is found
The affected task should stop if an unfamiliar material, condition or permission issue appears. The authorised contact can discuss how to proceed. Another task or area should not be substituted without agreement.
Changes to the cleaning method
A different product, tool, moisture level or pressure can affect a surface. Confirm the care instructions, permission and any price change before proceeding, and ask for a material change to the agreed work to be recorded in writing.
After your one-off clean
Check which tasks were completed and ask about anything excluded, changed or left unfinished. A question about future cleaning does not create an ongoing booking. A later visit needs its own agreed tasks and quote.
