To request a quote, tell us the service address, rooms and tasks, how often you would like cleaning and your preferred timing. Include practical arrival details such as parking, stairs, a lift or shared entry. Tell us which tasks come first and who may approve changes to the agreed work. Keep keys and entry codes out of your first message; arrange any necessary access details securely later. We will confirm the written scope, price and appointment before booking.
Build a room-by-room cleaning scope

The exact list is agreed before the visit. Depending on the written quote, the discussion may include:
- agreed tidying that does not include unapproved item movement
- a recurring core list with a separately agreed rotating priority
- kitchen benches, sinks and agreed external surfaces
- bathrooms and toilets listed in the written scope
Scope boundary: Only the domestic tasks confirmed in your quote are included. Existing damage, specialist hazards, restoration and guaranteed cleaning outcomes are not promised.
Choose between one visit and recurring help
A one-off visit suits a defined list for one appointment. Recurring help needs a frequency and a repeatable core scope. Tell Smurfettes which decision you are making so the quote is prepared for the right service.
Choosing a one-off or recurring visit does not confirm an appointment or NDIS funding. The agreed tasks, timing and individual funding position still need confirmation.
Check the quote and invoice details you need
Ask for the written quote to identify the service, agreed tasks, proposed timing and price. Tell Smurfettes how your plan is managed and where an invoice should be sent, without sharing information that is not needed.
If your plan manager or authorised contact needs a particular reference, include that requirement before booking. Administrative details do not replace the individual funding decision.
Separate routine kitchen work from extra tasks

A kitchen request can distinguish routine benches, sink, splashback and floor work from tasks such as an appliance interior or a cupboard interior. Listing them separately makes the written scope easier to check.
Food handling, pest treatment, appliance repair and restoration are not ordinary household-cleaning tasks. Ask about any unusual request before it is added to the quote.
Describe floors and surfaces that need attention

State which rooms need vacuuming, mopping or dusting and note any surface care instruction that matters. A room-by-room list is more useful than assuming a whole-property checklist.
Moving heavy furniture, restoration and specialist floor treatment are not implied by a cleaning enquiry. If access to a surface is limited, include that detail when requesting the quote.
Keep provider registration and funding separate
Whether household cleaning can be paid from a participant’s NDIS funding depends on the participant’s disability-related support needs, their plan and current NDIS requirements. A quote or booking does not confirm funding. Keep ordinary household expenses, repairs, direct tenancy costs and work for other residents separate from the participant’s NDIS-funded cleaning request; ask for private-pay work to be described and priced separately.
For invoice arrangements, self-managed participants or authorised nominees can provide their billing details, while plan-managed participants can provide the plan manager’s invoice details. Check individual funding and payment questions with the participant’s plan manager, support coordinator or NDIS contact before booking.
Smurfettes Service Pty Ltd is registered with the NDIS Commission for Household Tasks. This registration does not determine whether a particular task can be paid from the participant’s plan.
