Since November 2025, the Support at Home program (which replaced Home Care Packages) funds domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, as part of everyday living support. Your eligibility and funding level are assessed through My Aged Care, and some everyday living services attract a small participant contribution. Should I have cleaning supplies ready for the visit?
No, your cleaner brings everything needed. The products we use are non toxic and safe for your family and pets. If you would rather we use products you already have at home in Sydney, just let us know.
What are your booking and cancellation rules?
Bookings run for a minimum of 2 hours, scheduled daily, weekly or fortnightly to suit you. If plans change, we simply ask for 2 days notice to move or cancel a visit.
Can I trust the cleaner coming into my home?
Yes. Every Smurfettes cleaner holds a National Police Clearance and an NDIS Worker Screening Check, is fully insured, and is trained to work respectfully in your home.
Can seniors get help paying for cleaning?
